All-Africa Conference: Sister to Sister brings together Women Religious so that they may address the crisis of HIV and AIDS by listening to, learning from and empowering one another to collaborate in strategies for prevention and care in response to the pandemic. The essence of the AACSS is the bonding that exists between Sister and Sister. |

At the conferences, African Sisters are mutually empowered by sharing grace-filled time and sustained by ongoing mutual support. They develop country-specific action plans that are a core element of the AACSS process. The participants commit themselves to building networks and relationships among themselves and with other people and agencies already involved in addressing HIV/AIDS issues. |
Committed to the implementations of these action plans, the Sisters bring back to their ministries increased knowledge, wisdom, strength and hope into the lives of some of the poorest people suffering amid HIV and AIDS. |
