Data collection & sharing

When you visit our website, your browser provides information to our website just as it does when you visit other Internet sites. This may include referral addresses, your time zone, the search terms you entered, the type of device you are using (e.g., desktop computer, tablet, mobile phone), and the page or pages that you visited.

Other than this standard data, we do not collect any information from you except for information that you knowingly and willingly provide. This might include your name, email address, physical address, phone number, age, and your interest in receiving various types of communications from us such as our newsletter or annual report. Having this information helps us improve your experience when you visit our website.

We do not share the AAC:SS donor list with other non-profit organizations.

The AAC:SS website is published and maintained in the United States of America. If you are located outside the U.S.A., and if you voluntarily provide personal information through our website, you are consenting to AAC:SS’s use of that information. In addition, you are consenting to the transfer and storage of that information in the U.S.A.

Privacy of minors

We encourage parents and guardians to monitor their youngsters Internet usage, and to instruct them never to provide personal information without your permission. If we discover that we have collected personal information from someone under the age of 18 and this has occurred without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete that information.
